First, let me give credit for the pose and inspiration to this [link] picture which is awesome and incredible yay.

This is a character I came up with kind of by accident. I was planning a heroes rp and needed a superman type and started digging through my action figures for a super body. I found a marvel guardsman figure and thought his colors were a far enough stretch from superman to keep him original. From there I added the cosmetic touches using gundam crests and airsoft pellets. Then I wrote his story:

Powers and abilities:
supersonic flight
force field generator
sonic blasts from hands and jewel in chest armor
super strength (able to lift up to 70 tons)
undetermined durability threshold (Skin is impervious to all forms of damage encountered thus far. Can be knocked unconscious or disoriented with extreme impact or various wave attacks.)


Dale was a soldier in the united states army. He was badly injured in the second gulf war when a bullet grazed his spine during a firefight. He was left paralyzed from the waist down and restricted to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Through a joint operation between a secret government organization and a race of highly advanced aliens, he was given a power suit contained within a large jewel. This jewel is actually a door to an alternate dimension where the suit and its power source is stored. When activated the jewel splits and the suit attaches to the wearer leaving the two halves at the waist and chest. When wearing the suit, Dale is fully functional and operates as though nothing is wrong with his legs. The suit's forcefield can be expanded to cover his head and fingers and also anything he is carrying. It repels impact and allows him to project concussive blasts from his fists and can be expanded rapidly for an area effect deterrent.


This isn't my first oc but he's definitely one of my favorites. The idea of someone so powerless in his normal life becoming a godlike hero is appealing to me (wonder why...).
